Hi parents, guardians, staff, and friends!
Welcome to Week 4 of Term 1! We’re already halfway through this term.
This week’s theme is “Superhero.” During the week we have been doing some amazing stuff, one of which was making cool superhero masks – the children loved them. Along with that we also did superhero craft activities.
This week we also received some new resources in the TheirCare room. All the children loved them, especially the basketball hook which they enjoy playing every morning and afternoon. Also, this week’s weather was too hot, so we couldn’t play outside, but that didn’t stop us from having fun. We played octopus, skittles, blocked soccer, and soccer matches in the gym – it was so much fun. We also made bracelets, explored, and played with the new resources in the TheirCare room.
This week Ashleigh and Angie are doing the medical audit. If your child / children have medical conditions, please keep an eye on the white envelopes that will be sent home and please sign and kindly return them to TheirCare. Thank you for your support!
This week we have a large number of prep children attending TheirCare every afternoon. On Tuesday we had 20 prep children and on Thursday we have 17 prep children attending TheirCare in the afternoon. It is good to see how the prep children are gaining confidence and feeling comfortable coming to TheirCare and engaging with the other children.
This week’s Pupil of the Week is Oliver Clark (3MP) for helping prep children feel welcome and assisting them when coming to TheirCare. Well done, Oliver! You should be very proud!! 😊😊
