Multicultural Speaking
Congratulations to Nicko, Billie, Jamie and Henry who represented MGPS at the Multi cultural speaking competition held at Drummond memorial PS today.
The Multicultural Public Speaking Competition encourages primary school children to explore the ideas of multiculturalism in Australia. The competition has a prepared speech section as well as a section on an impromptu speech. Therefore students delivered their multicultural speeches and then had to speak in an impromptu section.

Last week Sophie, Emalie, Xanthe attended the HPGE Dance opportunity run by the DoE Arts Unit at Armidale Secondary college. The girls participated in the workshops over 4 days learning all about different forms and performance.
Kindergarten's great learning continues!
Thanks to the Platypus kit borrowed from the New England Rakali and Platypus group, Kindergarten students have been getting sweaty brains with all of the learning they have been doing learning about the amazing platypus and they now know some fabulous new facts.
