TheirCare News

We would like to begin by acknowledging the Traditional Owners of the land, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nation, and pay our respect to their Elders, past, present, and emerging.

Welcome to Week 4 of Term 3

Hi parents, guardians, staff, and friends!

We started the week off on a wonderful note here at TheirCare! The children have been engaged, smiling, and enjoying a variety of fun activities together. It’s been a joy to see everyone participating and learning. We’re looking forward to keeping this positive energy going for the rest of the week. We’re especially excited to share that we have some brand-new resources for the children to explore and play with, sparking even more creativity and fun.

This week’s theme: Science Week!

This week at TheirCare, we’re diving into Science Week! The children have been exploring the wonders of science through hands-on experiments, exciting activities, and curious conversations. Science Week is a fantastic opportunity for the children to explore, investigate, and spark a love for discovery that will last well beyond this week.

  • Bouncing Egg Experiment – See how an ordinary egg can turn bouncy by using a simple science trick.
  • Grow a Rainbow – Use capillary action to make colours travel and blend into a magical rainbow.
  • Salt Crystal Art – Learn how crystals form while making sparkling, colourful creations.
  • Invisible Ink – Write secret messages that can only be revealed with a special scientific method.
  • Balloon Rocket Racers – Build and race rockets powered by nothing but air from a balloon.
  • Nature Stamp Art – Collect leaves, flowers, and other natural items to stamp and design creative artworks.

Pupil of the Week

A big congratulations to Isabel Devenish, our Pupil of the Week! For being kind and supportive, and for always engaging so positively with her peers and staff. We’re so proud of the wonderful example she sets for others! Well done, Isabel !👏💫

Please make sure to book your children in advance rather than relying on walk-ins. At times, we reach maximum capacity, and we want to ensure every child has a safe and enjoyable experience. Your cooperation helps us plan better and provide the best care possible. Thank you!

For all families – if you have any questions about TheirCare and would like to come and have a chat, please visit us in Dingo Building (Gallery Space) in the morning and afternoon. Alternatively, you can contact us on the details provided and we will help you as best we can.
