Our Pathways in Hospitality students are open for business! The Year 10 students have established a student-run cafe, Beginners Shot, giving them hands-on experience in running a business, including customer service, food preparation and financial management.

Our talented students are putting their classroom knowledge into practice, crafting delicious treats and beverages for the College community. This real-world experience is invaluable in preparing our students for successful careers in the hospitality industry.

Well done boys!

Speaking of food, congratulations to Year 11 students Nicholas Willis Pitt and Jack Martin, and Year 10 students Hayden Serno and Patrick McGreevy, who won the silver medal at last week's ACC Culinary Competition at Parade College.

The boys were one of five teams vying for the titles and narrowly missed out on the gold medal to the home school by just two points!

Their award-winning dishes included a main of chicken roulade with Meredith goats cheese, walnuts and prosciutto, and a dessert of caramel mousse in a chocolate sphere with orange syrup and strawberry coulis. Very impressive, boys!
