Early Departure/Late Arrival Procedure

If your child has an appointment outside of school and is going to be picked up early, or arriving late, please send a note to school with your child with this information.  This way your child will be given a pass from their sub-school and will be able to meet their parent(s) at the office on time.

Contact Details

It is essential that our school records are kept up to date with correct contact details.  If your details change, please contact the General Office with the changes.  Most correspondence is done by email or Compass so please ensure that you have supplied the College with an email address. Contact details can also be updated on Compass.

Sick Bay

If any student is feeling unwell during school time, please tell your class teacher and they will issue you with a note/diary and send you to the office.  We will then assess the situation and in most cases will call a parent/guardian to seek direction on what they would like us to do or arrange for pick up.

 

If procedure is not followed you are likely to be marked absent from class. Students are not to call parents themselves because we are then unaware of the student’s whereabouts and this then results in a very long process and parent(s)/guardian(s) waiting a long time for us to locate the student.

Student Accident Insurance Arrangements

Parents and guardians are responsible for paying the cost of medical treatment for injured students, including any transport costs.  Student accident insurance policies are available from some commercial insurers.  These cover a range of medical expenses not covered by Medicare or private health insurance.
