Week 5 Character Strength Awards

Our Character Strength focus for last was Forgiveness. We were very pleased to award Cash Kelly with the Week 5 award. 

Week 6 Character Strength Focus

This week our focus is Kindness. 

At St. Joseph's School, we can show kindness by: 

• Only using kind words when communicating.
• Saying 'thank you' and 'please'.
• Greeting our teachers and friends each morning. 
• Giving someone a compliment.
• Lending a hand and assist someone in need. 
• Respecting our student referees in lunch time games.
• Encouraging others and showing good sportsmanship.
• Being welcoming and including others in games. 

By building our character strengths, we can all work together to say:

People have a better day because I am here as part of the school team! 

Each week, we will display our focus for all students to see on our new Living Well, Learning Well display. We look forward to watching our students display kindness in all they do this week and encourage families to discuss this week's character strength at home.
