What is ART FOR ALL?

ART FOR Fairfield Primary School

ART FOR ALL is FPS's unique art themed weekend festival from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th November 2023. This year we will celebrate the 26th year of ART FOR ALL at FPS. There's so much happening for kids, adults, neighbours, the community, local artists and makers, families and friends.

ART FOR Kids

For this year's theme, Marjie and students have been focusing on the artist, inventor, scientist, engineer, draftsman... Leonardo DaVinci. Across all year levels students have been preparing their artwork and will select one chosen piece to be displayed in our ART FOR ALL Gallery.

FPS kids and friends can enjoy Family Day on Sunday 19th November from 10am – 3pm, with ArtZone, Mona's Silent Disco, roving performances, follow the Art Trail and eat delicious food. Kids can also participate in the making of the Art Community Project and more!

ART FOR Adults

The school gym will be transformed into a curated Gallery and Gallery Shop for the weekend. Opening on Friday 17th, come and enjoy amazing artwork and handmade goods from local emerging and established artists and makers. Most of the artwork, sculptures and handmade goods will be for sale.

Book the 'sitter for Gala Night Saturday 18th, it's our official Gallery opening and award giving night. Enjoy a glass of bubbles from the bar, music, entertainment and gorgeous canapés served by our Year 6 students.

ART FOR Community

Now in its 26th year ART FOR ALL has been a long standing part of the Fairfield community. We welcome families, friends and neighbours beyond the school community to enjoy our mammoth event. Whether it be participating in a hip hop workshop with our Indigenous performers, enjoying a coffee at the Cafe and stocking up on Xmas presents at the Gallery Shop, dancing with Mona in the Silent Disco, or submitting their artwork in our Gallery, there's something for everyone in the Fairfield community.

ART FOR All without waste

We work very hard to make ART FOR ALL a waste-free event. This year there'll be no landfill bins, just washable or school compostable or recycling drop off points, and our signage will be reusable and adaptable for years to come.

ART FOR Artists & Makers too!

The Gallery and Gallery Shop is open all weekend, so come and have a look.

Perhaps you'd like to apply to have your artwork displayed for sale in the Gallery? We have several categories of awards to be won.

Maybe you handmake something special and would like to sell throughout the Gallery Shop? Applications open in August, stay tuned.
