Earth Ed excursion

In our Integrated topic for Term 1, students have been exploring Space, Earth and major geographical events such as Drought, Earthquakes, Volcanoes and Tsunami's. As a part of this, students got the opportunity to attend Earth Ed in Ballarat to explore how Earthquakes can occur and the impacts of these natural disasters. Students conducted experiments and even got the chance to be engineers to create safe and sound structures to survive an Earthquake. Thank you to the guys at Earth Ed for a fun filled day!

Buddies

This week, our buddies got together again to hear about 'How the birds got their colours'. Hazel did her best efforts reading to the classes (upside down) while all the students listening carefully to the story. The students then proceeded to create their own colourful birds, along with very colourful wings.
