National Tree Day

National Tree Day

National Tree Day for school is an annual event that aims to plant 1 million new trees and shrubs across Australia.

Loch Primary took part by planting native trees, fruit trees and garden shrubs.  Each class took turns planting fruit trees and each student had the opportunity to plant a tree.   Several areas around the school where refreshed by the plantings.

A huge thank you to Kathe Thompson, Tracey & Jodie A for all their efforts in organising and collecting the trees and getting them in the ground with the kids. Awesome job by everyone involved.
