CONCERT NEWS -ONE MORE WEEK!!!!!!

OMG!!!! OMG!!!!OMG!!!! It’s ALMOST HERE!!!!

Your children have been working soooooooooo hard and we can’t wait to show you how amazing they all are!!! Grade 5/6 students are confident they will have the audience astounded by their exceptional skills, although the rest of the school like to think they are just as brilliant (and I agree!) All of our students are nervous and excited at the same time, which is normal, even for professional dancers!

Don’t forget, all grades will be performing 2 songs with 2 different costumes, with the Choir performing an additional 2 songs for the audience to sing along with!!!

TICKETS: We still have seats available so please get your tickets asap and let your children know you have them! Some students have been a bit worried that they will not get to perform on the ‘big stage’ because they are unsure if their parents have bought tickets or not. ****PERFORMERS DO NOT PAY.

Order tickets here or please see the office if you would like to pay there.

FACE PAINT: A note went home last week requesting permission for face painting. If your child does not wish to have it or has allergies, can you please return the form stating ‘NO face painting please’ so we know not to call/email you!

COSTUMES: A note went home at the start of last term with the night your child is performing on (1st Aug or 2nd August) and what clothing they will need to wear with their costumes. This needed to be in last Friday. THANK YOU to those of you who have done this. Please ensure everything is at school (including the shoes) THIS FRIDAY as we have FULL SCHOOL DRESS REHEARSAL and PHOTOS. Please bring these items to school in a NAMED plastic bag and leave them with their class teacher. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions!

***All classroom teachers and office staff have a copy of the costume requirements. Our wonderful parent ambassadors have also included them in their emails.

Our RAFFLE EXTRAVIGANZA TICKETS are on sale NOW for the additional costs incurred for the running of the school concert. A note went home last week with the QR code link, (or use the one in this newsletter, https://www.raffletix.com.au/bundooraextravaganza or find the link on Compass). There are AMAZING prizes! Please feel free to sell these to family and friends. A HUGE thankyou to AMES/ Northcote Pottery once again! (Feel free to look at the 30+ prizes located in the office breezeway).

A MASSIVE THANKYOU to mum Ashlea Dyson who has single-handedly been sewing, fixing and making extra costumes to make sure every child in the school has one! Between studying full time and working, she has also volunteered to help with face painting (in which she is also highly skilled!) I can’t thank her enough!

Thankyou again to the parents who have helped out in any way they could, big or small….
