Meet Our New Staff

Susan Winter (1B)

Ella Ryan (2B)

My name is Ella Ryan (Miss Ryan) and I have just started working at Bundoora Primary School this semester as the classroom teacher for 2B. I worked at BPS last year during term 4 as the AUSLAN teacher and I am so excited to be re-joining the BPS community and getting to meet many of you along the way!

A little bit about me is that I love spending time with my friends and family, watching Collingwood play in both the AFL and AFLW and netball, I love being in nature, reading lots of books and anything to do with Harry Potter. I also have two dogs called Jake and George who keep me company when I am at home.

I look forward to seeing you all soon,

Ella Ryan

Hello Bundoora Primary School!

My name is Mrs Susan Winter and I have just started in Grade 1B. I have had a great time already getting to know everyone and am looking forward to meeting more of you as the year goes on.

I have been teaching for about 10 years, seven at a school nearby and have taught over a whole range of year levels. I love teaching and working with young people and their families. Before being a primary school teacher, I taught English overseas in Japan and England. I really enjoyed travelling around the world and learning a lot about other cultures and lifestyles. I have also studied lots of languages and can speak a few reasonably well and a few really badly! Before I was a teacher I worked in marketing and community relations at the University of Melbourne.

I live in Banyule with my husband and three teenage daughters, and our two cheeky dogs, Piper and Doug. When I am not teaching you will find me with my nose in a book or behind a sewing machine creating my latest outfit! I used to play competitive tennis and travelled around playing lots of tournaments.

I am very excited to be joining Bundoora so please come and say hello if you see me around the school!

Mrs Winter
