Year 7 Immunisations and Staff Flu Vaccinations
On the 30th of May our year 7 students received their Human Papillomavirus Vaccine (HPV) and Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis (dTpa-Boostrix) vaccine.
The day was a great success with all CSC students showing a tremendous amount of bravery, as well as fabulous school values by showing respect and great manners to the Hume city council nurses who visited our school on the day.
Year 7 students will receive their second dose of the Human Papillomavirus Vaccine (HPV) on Monday the 28th of November.
Straight after the year 7 immunisations many CSC staff members received their flu vaccinations.
It was fantastic to see so many people vaccinated on the one day.
Immunisation is the best way to protect yourself and your family from preventable diseases and illnesses.
The flu vaccination is now free until the end of June for all Victorians over the age of 6 months old. You can receive your free flu vaccination at many pharmacies or your local doctor. For more information please visit:
