Sports Update

PMPS Swim Team

Thank you to all students who gave it their best at the swim trials on Friday, February 24. Over 80 students trialled for a spot with 24 students being selected in the final team that represented the school on Wednesday, March 1st at Prahran Aquatic Centre. 

A huge thank you to the parents who supported at both the trials and the district carnival. 

Congratulations to Kai Jensen (12/13 boys butterfly) & James Waldhart (12/13 boys breaststroke) who won their individual events and will represent the school at the Beachside Division Swimming Carnival. Special mentions to our girls 12/13 4 x 50m freestyle relay team - Hanon Box, Agnes Dapper, India Fannon, and Carrington Haynes) and our boys 12/13 4 x 50m freestyle relay team consisting of Kai Jensen, Thomas Kogler, Tobias Sonneveld, And James who qualified for the Beachside Division Swimming Carnival to be held at Oakleigh Recreation Centre, Friday, March 10. 

Southport District Tennis Competitions

Congratulations to Kai Jensen and Jasmine Baker who represented the school at the district tennis competition on Friday, February 17. Special mention to Jasmine who placed 2nd and will compete at the Beachside Division Tennis Competition next Thursday, March 9 at Oakleigh Tennis Centre. 

State Level Athletics

Can we please congratulate the following students for competing at a regional level for athletics. These students have made it through to compete at the state level in a couple of weeks for the following events;

Chuck Schiller: Shot Put

Olivia Heddle: 200m, Long Jump & Triple Jump

Jump Rope for Heart

The Jump Rope for Heart prizes have finally arrived yay! They will be handed out at the beginning of week 6.
