FDBA are beginning an all-abilities basketball competition, for the winter 2023 season on a Friday evening between 4.30pm -6pm. Do you have any students with a disability that have difficulty playing in regular basketball competitions? If so this is the opportunity to create a team for them.

Our competition begins Friday 28th April, with the top two teams in each of our 3 divisions playing in the grand final on 15th September. Medals will be awarded to grand final participants.

All teams entered will need to have a uniform with numbers and a coach.

We cater for all skill levels.

Div 1 - For highly skilled players i.e. players in our current VJBL or senior/junior competitions, that have a dig noised disability.

Div 2 - For medium/low skilled players with modified rules

Div 3 - For low/walkers skilled players with modified rules.

Our competition is open aged and mixed genders.

We are keeping costs low to reduce the financial barriers that people face with sports involvement.

The cost will be $100 per person plus, Basketball Victoria license fee which is paid once in 12 months, the cost is dependent on your age.

U18 = $29

18 + =$43

With 20 games in the season this equates to $5 per person per game.

No other cost will be involved.

If you are interested in registering your team, please send me a return email and I can provide registration links and a competition rules.
