Inspirational Young Artists

For 2018, Inspired Magazine urged young inspiring and aspiring artists to submit their work, for the chance to be the front cover of Inspired Magazine

There were a number of fantastic entries, which demonstrated the positive ethos of The Lakes,  as well as The Lakes values. But, there were two finalist entries that really took the judges breathes away.

Year 9 student, Shinthia, submitted a vibrant piece, which demonstrates The Lakes' colourful spirit. The center of the artwork is the school logo, surrounded by an image of the world, and the school values. Shinthia wanted to depict the school's community and global connections.  Shinthia's work is animated and alive with colour. Congratulations Shinthia on your hard work and effort!

Year 5 student, Olivia K, submitted a wonderful piece, which demonstrates the many cultural backgrounds at The Lakes, and the warm and welcoming nature at the school. Olivia's work is eye-catching and dynamic. Congratulation Olivia on submitting your fantastic artwork, and showcasing your piece on the front cover of Inspired Magazine.
