7 - 9 MAD Dance

MAD Dance students raised money for the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal in 'Together We Dance', as Performing Arts Captain, Jaden, shares :

On Friday the 23rd of March, 37 Year 7-9 MAD Dance students participated in Together We Dance - a fundraising dance showcase for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal. The evening was organised by Jump Dance Challenge and over $10,000 was raised.

We performed a mash-up dance choreographed by our dance teachers Aimee Freind and Jemma Craig. The Lakes were the only government school represented, with majority of pieces coming from private dance schools. The MAD dance was enjoyed by the whole crowd and we were the final performance of the night. It was the first big event we have done this year and brought us closer together as a group.
