Junior School – Semester 2 Reports

The Semester Two comments and grades were published on Astra by all teachers by the 8th December. An electronic copy of the full Reports were published on Astra on the 9th December. A hard copy will be mailed to parents during the holidays. Parents were notified via Astra News.

Senior School – Continuous Reporting on Astra – End of Year

Teachers published the final grades and feedback on Astra during Term Four. The 2020 “Statement of Results” Report were published electronically to Astra on the 4th December, this report gives a full overall of all results for the entire school year. The Effort and Dedication Summary final round, was also published electronically to Astra. Parents were notified via Astra News.

Senior School - Comparative Assessment Reports and Student Performance Graphs

The Semester Two Comparative Assessment Reports and Student Performance Graphs were published electronically to Astra on the 1st December. Parents were notified via Astra News. Senior School – Wellbeing and Pastoral Care Reports

Semester Two grades and feedback were published to Astra by the 18th November. Parents received an Astra notification when published.

Instrumental Reports - Semester 2

Prep to Year 12 Instrumental Teachers published their semester comments and grades to Astra 6th November and a copy of the full reports were published electronically to Astra on the 2nd December. Parents were notified via Astra News.

Merit Certificates

Senior School - Merits, Student Achievement (Years 10-12) and First Place in Subject Certificates were given out to the nominated students in House Tutor Groups in the last week of Term Four. Students who were nominated for a combined six or more Academic Excellence, Academic Endeavour, Co-curricular Endeavour and House Endeavour Merits, were recognised and awarded their certificates during the Head’s online address.

Junior School - Merit Certificates were awarded to students in their classroom, on the last day of school.

Accessing Results, Feedback and full Reports via Astra

You can view online feedback and results by logging into ASTRA https://astra.girton.vic.edu.au and selecting the ‘Grades’ tab underneath your child’s photo. You can then select the relevant subject from the drop-down list. Please remember to select the relevant semester in the filter settings, when accessing grades. If you have not downloaded the Astra App, this is also available on your Astra page.

To access a copy of any saved reports, select the “Academic Reports” button, which is located under your child’s photo, to the right of their Timetable button. Select this and you will see all the Girton Academic Reports. Only Girton Grammar Academic Reports are available via this Astra Icon, if you want other reports e.g. NAPLAN you need to select “Documents” on your opening page, then click on your child’s name to the right of screen, and the other reports will be under the subheading of “Government Reports”.

You can also see your child’s Timetable, Calendar, Due Work and lots more by selecting your child’s name on the left-hand side of the home page. To return to the Astra home page click the Astra logo on the top left.
