MOTHERS DAY BREAKFAST
On Friday 12th May we showed our appreciation to our mothers, grandmothers and special women by hosting our annual Mothers Day breakfast.
The children love sharing these special occasions with their families and it was fantastic to see so many loved ones enjoying breakfast. Thank you to everyone who attended and our staff for donating eggs, cooking the delicious bacon and egg rolls as well as serving the tea and coffee.
ASPC 2023 STATE CONFERENCE
Last week Mr Baird travelled to Wollongong to attend the ACSP (Association of Catholic School Principals) 2023 State Conference. The theme for the conference was New Hope, New Growth. A celebration of Catholic Educational Leadership and focused on the new ways of thinking about why and how we educate and lead. A vast range of topics were covered over the course of the three day conference with Mr Baird attending a range of keynote and plenary sessions.
GRIP STUDENT LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
Our 2023 School Captains, Vice Captains and Prefects were provided a fantastic opportunity to attend the GRIP Student Leadership Conference. On Wednesday 17th May, Mrs McInnes accompanied the students to Moree for the day to attend the conference.
The conference covered topics such as how to be an ‘others first’ leader as well as ideas that impact everybody. By all accounts it was a valuable experience for them and they were able to meet and mix with lots of other students from different schools.
NARRABRI ARTS EISTEDDFOD
Our students have been practicing hard and preparing for weeks to perform at this year’s Eisteddfod. The students will be participating in a variety of groups and individual events in both Music and Speech.
We wish everyone participating in the Eisteddfod over this week and next week the best of luck!
