Student Voice

From Our School Leaders - Will, Ella, Chase, Monique

The last few weeks have been a blast. Heaps of events have occurred.

The 3/4  students made their first Holy Communion, which was a great success. Many people attended and all students and parents had a wonderful time.

Last Tuesday the year 6 students went to a Quirindi High taster day. The year 6 students got to experience and prepare for high school.   We have also had a visit from McCarthy Catholic College, explaining all about their great opportunities, too!

The diocesan winter trials were held last Friday.  Congratulations to all those who participated and we hope they had enjoyed themselves.

Unfortunately the Willow Tree Horse Sports event planned for last Friday was postponed due to the rain, but those involved are eagerly waiting for a revised date to be advised.

This Friday we will be celebrating St. Joseph's day. We will be holding sporting events as well as a barbecue that all parents are all invited to. Remember that there will be beef and gravy rolls, or sausage rolls with a drink for $5.00.

What worked well:

  • The girls toilets are going well. They are taking one paper towel and nobody is being silly.
  • The roster for the infants to play with primary is going well. Infants play non - hands on games with primary on Monday and Tuesday.

Even better If:

  • Handball needs improvement. There are still disagreements with the ref and some students aren't talking it out.
  • Don’t talk when the bells ring in the cola. As soon as you enter the cola you must not talk.
  • Listen to the toilet monitor. They are here to make sure you are safe and make sure you aren't being silly.
