Autumn Holidays 2022

'when I grow up'

Over the holiday period we held over 15 schools which is one of our greatest accomplishments, and we also had over 50 children most of the days with our highest day reaching 56! It was such an amazing turn out and the children truly enjoyed themselves. The children were able to engage in so many fun in house activities, incursions and excursions. Our activities ranged from building lanterns, making billy carts, patting cute baby animals to riding the bus to the cinema and to mini golf. The children engaged with all of their peers from all ages and from all different schools. 

I take great pleasure in thanking all of the parents who mentioned they spread the word about our holiday program and spoke so highly of us as a whole, without your support we wouldn't of had the amazing turn out like we did from our local area. 

We truly want nothing but the best for your children and do believe we offer such a wide variety of experiences and activities for your children. If you have any feedback from your children or your own personal feedback please send me an email and let me know so i can pass these onto head office in hope we can offer and even better program next holidays. 

Some of the in house activities the children were able to enjoy were making their own lanterns, designing some amazing photo frames, upcycled some musical instruments, held a talent show, we also made some yummy treats which the children were always welcome to enjoy during afternoon tea. 

TERM 2

Term 2 started off with a bang and saw the children excited to be back and we welcomed so many new faces to the program. we began the week with colour in rainbow week which saw the children do everything bright and colourful, the children were able to make jewelry mosaic names and some amazing colouring in. 

IN HOUSE

Some of you may of had the pleasure of meeting Steph who will be helping me out in service most of the week, she is about to go on placement for a month and me and the children will miss having her around but she will be back after that so please say hello as she is very excited to meet you all! 

During the Holidays we also went through our assessment and rating from the department of education. This fell on the second day of holidays and we had a high volume of children attending. Everything went perfectly! When Theircare took over the service the rating was at working towards, I can now happily say we are meeting in every aspect and the service is right on track!
