Buddy Program

Over the course of this term a number of our Year 7 students have been working with Year 9 and 10 students to assist with their transition into secondary school. Headspace in conjunction with Hume Youth Services have been running a series of workshops to develop help these students through the change. Students have had the opportunity to get involved in a range of activities and build positive relationships with their peers. Our Year 9 and 10 students involved have demonstrated strong capabilities to mentor and guide their younger peers. We would like to congratulate all students involved in this program.

Student Leadership Ceremony

On Monday the 26th the college celebrated the induction of our student leaders at a ceremony with their family and friends. Students were presented and recognised as the leaders to the college community. In doing so, students agreed to be representatives for their peers and be their voice in the college community. They agreed to follow the college values of respect, responsibility, achievement and community in their work and be a positive role model to all. Once again we would like to congratulate to all our students leaders on their roles.

Student Representative Council (SRC)

Our student representatives have been nominated and elected into the role. Students have already begun brainstorming and collecting ideas from their peers on ways in which they can improve the college community for their peers this year.
