Did You Know?

Did you know you can reduce your landfill waste and REDcycle your soft plastics?  Simply collect your bread bags, pasta bags, frozen vegetable packets, cereal box liners, even your old green shopping bags and pop them in to your nearest REDcycle collection bin.  The collection bins are easily found at your local Coles and Woolworths (Moonee Ponds / Showgrounds etc), at the front of the store.  See the REDcycle link for further info.

Bottle caps update!

Thank you to all who have donated so far and we now have so many bottle caps! We want to reach our school goal of 10,000 bottle caps so please continue to bring your milk or juice bottle caps to school and either donate at the office or give to a 1/2 student or teacher.  Please check that they have the Numbers 2 or 4 and the recycle logo on them as these are the caps that can be recycled. 

These bottle caps are put through a 3D printer and turned into hands for kids in developing countries who have lost a limb. We have put an ice cream container at the front office, please put your juice or milk bottle caps in there (no metal or tin).
