Grade 2

In Grade two this week we have started reading Roald Dahl’s The BFG. The students have enjoyed listening to the detailed descriptions and odd events that have occurred so far in the book, and we are looking forward to finding out what happens next to Sophie and the BFG. 

In writing we have been working hard on creating our own narratives after spending many lessons learning and performing The Papaya That Spoke. Many students have written their first narrative and are up to writing their next one which is very exciting! 

Both classes were also very proud of their door displays which they created for book week, and they all looked amazing in their book week costumes. A massive thank you to all the parents who helped in organising your child’s costume as it made their day very special.
