Would you be interested in a Sandringham College community cookbook?

An idea has been brewing... We've put a quick survey together to ask your thoughts on gathering recipes and publishing them in the form of a school cookbook, complete with student art, school history and tales. The icing on the cake would be to collect as many lockdown lunches, dinners, desserts and snack recipes that have seen you through the many months of living through the Covid-19 pandemic 2020/2021. Family social event...

We would really love to hold a family social event on Fri 3 December 2021 to celebrate the end of the year. At the moment though, with so much uncertainty, we are hesitant about planning one. If we are out of lockdown and if restrictions allow, we might quickly put together a food truck family festival to be held at Holloway Rd. It's very much let's wait and see. Fingers crossed!

Working Bee cancelled due to Covid restrictions

Thank you to everyone who was planning to help out at the Working Bee. Unfortunately we've had to cancel due to the current Covid restrictions. The next Working Bee will be held at the beginning of Term 2 2022 at the Bluff Rd campus.

We hope to get our wonderful Gardening Club up and running fortnightly as soon as Covid allows. More info will be released on Compass once we know we can start back.

The Blazer Buy Back will be running again this year

We’re happy to announce that the successful Blazer Buy Back will be running again in Term 4. More details will be released next term.

The Second Hand Uniform Shop is available via email

The uniform shop is currently closed due to Covid restrictions and will re-open as soon as we are allowed. Please email uniformshop@sandringhamsc.vic.edu.au with any uniform needs.

Normally, the second hand uniform shop is open every Thursday 8.15am-9.15am during school terms and is located at the Bluff Rd campus.

Would you like to volunteer with the PTF committee in 2022?

The PTF committee annual nominations for 2022 occur at our November PTF Meeting held 7pm Tues 9 November 2021. I've now completed three years as PTF President and I wondered if someone else would like a turn? The following roles are currently vacant:

PTF Vice-President
PTF Events Manager
PTF Volunteer Coordinator

Please contact me if you're interested in becoming involved in the committee roles. There will hopefully be many more opportunities for volunteering across our events and initiatives in 2022 - COVID allowing.
