Remembrance Day 2019
Grange Primary School led a beautiful ceremony to remember the lives of all those lost in war. A special thank you goes out to our wonderful guest speaker Mr Greg Owens, to the students who shared their research and laid their wreaths and to Anne-Marie for organising such a beautiful ceremony. 'Lest we forget…'

Kindy visits to school
Grange Primary School invited our local Kindergarten to come and visit! Over 100 kindy students from two local Kindergartens visited over 4 days to see what school is all about. We looked at the canteen, the oval, the hall, a Performing Arts lesson, had a play on the playground and activity time inside a classroom. Our current Foundation students left a special letter for each kindy student, hidden in our outdoor play area, for them to take home. We hope these visits helped to make the kindy students feel confident and excited to start school, wherever they may be going next year!

ICAS Results
Each year, many Grange students choose to participate in the University of New South Wales (UNSW) ICAS Assessments. Students can choose to complete Mathematics, English, Writing, Spelling Bee, Digital Technologies or Science tests. This year we had many students participate in multiple test, with one student, Samuel Lawrence choosing to participate in all six tests.
ICAS Assessments are designed to recognise and reward academic excellence. The assessments are based on the curricula for the relevant year. Students are asked to demonstrate a deeper, integrated, and thorough level of learning.
To understand student achievement, the following levels are awarded in recognition of students’ results.
