Round 3 & 4 Sports Report

Round 3

In Round 3 we had a disappointing week if you only look at the wins and losses.  However, if you look at how much fun they had and what our students learned, then it's a different story.

Our Volleyball team played really well, and lost by 1 point in the last minute of the game against Montague.

A Grade - the boys played against Marnebek, who mainly have State representatives in the team, so to lose 32 - 27 was a great achievement.  Player of the match - Jarryd.

B Grade - a tough week with many players unavailable, and another loss to Marnebek, 36 - 6.  Player of the match - Jesse.

C Grade - good development and teamwork from our boys, and a loss to Emerson 28 - 19.  Player of the match Tyler.

Girls - one of the best teams in this division, Heatherwood, ended up with a big win 34 - 3, but the score didn't reflect the effort put in by some of our girls.  Player of the match Taya.

Round 4

A Grade - the boys played a close game against Emerson, losing 17 - 21.  Player of the match - Lorenzo.

B Grade - a tough game, and a loss to Emerson, 14 - 28.  Player of the match - Jack.

C Grade - more good teamwork from our boys, and a loss to Emerson 12 - 25.  Player of the match Tyler.

Girls - our girls played Ashwood, and they played really well but lost 20 - 4.  Player of the match Taya.
