Video Game Club
Video Game Club has been a thriving hub for our students on a Friday lunchtime. Students have the opportunity to play the console games on offer, play board games, laptop games or just hang out with others.
So far this year we’ve had the NES Mini, PS4 and PS5 on offer. Students have played classics like Donkey Kong, Mario Brothers and Kirby’s Adventure. Students have also played newer games like Rayman Legends, Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Street Fighter 4.
Next term will hopefully see the launch of our school’s first eSport Team as they get ready to participate in a National eSports Competition for Australian Schools, (The Acer Cup) later this year. We hope to launch with the free-to-play game, soccer meets micromachines – Rocket League. We’re also exploring the possibility of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Students should look to Compass for more information when it becomes available.
