Explore Open Night
The college held its yearly Explore Night on Wednesday the 29th of March. The day started with terrible weather, but this luckily improved during the day and the event could go ahead without any issues and a large turn-out of interested families.
Around 50 student representatives joined with the whole staff on Explore Open Night. Students assisted staff, showing what Greensborough has to offer at our Subject Fair in the new Science and Library buildings and taking prospective parents and students on tours of the school, showing our new school buildings and state of the art facilities including: AFL oval, FIFA standard soccer pitch and Pavilion, Sport Stadium, Athletic Development Centre, Music and Manual and Food Technology Rooms.
Students shared their personal experiences of academic and social learning at Greensborough College with parents, while staff provided an insight into our Greensborough College Programs and our school’s achievements. Parents and students heard about our progressive approach to education and our capacity to tailor the learning to the needs of our students through providing supports and extension.
Thanks to the whole staff for your work in displaying what we are all about at Greensborough College. Thanks to the student volunteers who are incredible ambassadors for our school and make it a great place to be. And finally, thanks to the many families who joined us on Explore Open Night. We enjoyed your company and hope to see you all again soon!
