Principal's Report

FAREWELL GLENN JENNER – ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank Glenn Jenner for his dedication, commitment and contribution to the Greensborough College Community. Glenn has been at Greensborough College for almost 18 years and he has played a key role in the school improvement journey since he took on the Assistant Principal role five years ago.

Over the years at our College Glenn has taught thousands of Greensborough College students in a range of subject areas particularly in the Arts and Food Technology.  Glenn is a passionate advocate for student voice, diversity and inclusion, rights and respectful relationships. Glenn has developed excellent relationships with students and families over the years and his influence has been profound with many.

He has held many leadership roles at the College including domain leader, year level coordinator and sub school leader.

Glenn’s leadership of the School Wide Positive Behaviour Support work has been outstanding and the College was acknowledged and rewarded with the Bronze Award for this work, which was announced last week.  Glenn has led the Positive Climate for Learning Team on this journey and he has showcased this journey to our network and neighbouring schools. Congratulations to Glenn and the team on this wonderful achievement.

I will miss Glenn’s collegiality, loyalty, friendship and sense of humour and I wish him all the very best at Whittlesea Secondary College and in his future endeavours as he takes up his new position at the beginning of term 2.
