Returning Books

It has been fantastic seeing so many students borrowing books and reading across K-6.  We've also had some long overdue books returned which is cause for celebration.  Some children have returned books that have been on loan to their older siblings who have now left LPS.  Thanks to the students and families for continuing to return books.  Libraries work best if we borrow and return, and late returns are better than no returns.

Students are encouraged to borrow from the school library when their class visits.  Teachers can advise you of your child's borrowing day.  

Library Bags

We encourage students to use a library bag.  Any bag that will suitably carry and protect our library books is acceptable, even a plastic shopping bag.
