Arabic-Speaking Parents Meetings

Three successful meetings for Arabic-speaking parents this term have provided important information to parents and an opportunity to ask questions and be actively involved in their child’s education. Olga Gromof, Head Teacher Careers for the Cowpasture Network, presented at the Week 9 meeting to assist parents in understanding post-school options for their child, including TAFE and university study.

Thank you to Mrs Naim for organising and presenting at every meeting. We look forward to seeing more parents at the Week 3, 6 and 9 meetings in Term 3.

Year 12 prepare for the Trial HSC Examinations

Year 12 students are busily preparing for their Trial HSC Examinations in Week 3 and 4, Term 3.

The July school holidays are an important time for this preparation for Year 12 students, and a good study habit includes finalising a study plan, as shown during Monday Connect meetings, and using it to make the best use of the time before the Trial HSC Examinations. Students should consider:

  • creating realistic study goals
  • including rest breaks and fun activities that provide relaxation and a chance to refresh
  • reviewing syllabus information and completing practice tasks for feedback
  • attending holiday workshops if available

School holidays

I wish all families a safe and happy school holiday break.  Term 3 begins for all students on Tuesday, 13 July 2021.
