Exploring job opportunities

Year 12 Work Studies

Year 12 Work Studies students visited the Western Sydney International Airport Experience Centre on Thursday 20 May 2021. It was a fantastic experience. Staff at the Centre delivered an informative and relevant presentation about the current works taking place at the airport site and future job opportunities at the airport (including lost property manager).

The Experience Centre team also shared their career journeys, which really opened our students' minds to the different pathways people take during their careers and how important it is to be adaptable in life. The excursion finished with a guided bus tour around the perimeter of the future airport site -  a very eye-opening bus tour.

The students all gave positive feedback about the day and walked away with valuable learning experiences.

Mr Alfonsi and Mr Chambour also thoroughly enjoyed the excursion (and have some new ideas on where to expand the vending machine business).
