Handmails Tale and V for Vendetta

Year 11 Advanced English have been exploring the World of Dystopian fiction as part of 

their Module: Narratives that Shape our World.  In doing so, students put literature into practice by adapting aspects of their texts Handmaids Tale and V for Vendetta.

Upon entry to what students assumed was going to be an ordinary English lesson, was actually entering a classroom that was transformed into a Dystopian World. 

From The Republic of Gilead to the dictatorship led by Norsefire, students composed intriguing monologues warning society against totalitarianism and corruption in conveying a cautionary tale for the future.
