NAPLAN online in May

NAPLAN Demonstration Site
Schools are transitioning from paper-based to computer-based assessments. Sandringham College will complete NAPLAN tests online in 2022.
Students, teachers, parents and carers are invited to use the public demonstration tests to familiarise themselves with the types of questions and related functionalities available in the online NAPLAN assessment.

Some of the key features include a range of question types, onscreen tools, timers, and interactive navigation. Students are encouraged to try all the tests for their year level to practice the complete range of question formats available.
A student with a disability can undertake the demonstration tests at their school, using the device they are familiar with, to determine whether they can access the platform and which disability adjustment codes (DACs) could support their participation. All test items are keyboard accessible.
Disability adjustments can be determined on a case-by-case basis by a school, together with a parent/carer, student, and where appropriate utilise tests that meet the needs of a student.
Further parent information can be accessed here https://www.nap.edu.au/naplan/parent-carer-support/
The NAPLAN online test window starts on Tuesday 10 May and finishes on Friday 20 May 2022.
Please feel free to contact your Year Level Leader if you have questions or Michael McGowan and Vivienne McElwee if you require further information.
With gratitude,
