From our Assistant Principal

Student Wellbeing

Parents play such an important role in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of their children.  We have been living in such difficult times and parents have been doing a wonderful job supporting their children and often also doing their own jobs.

It is important to recognise that all children will have different reactions to their experiences. As we return to school next term it will be important to reassure your children that school is a safe place to be, as there are procedures in place to ensure that it is.  Remind your children that our school is a community where people care for each other and they are an important part of our school community.

Julie Reid has done an amazing job supporting many children and their families. She has devised an “I Can” template which parents can use to support their children to transition to onsite learning.

We sincerely thank Julie and Cheyenne for their great contributions to our school community.

Please make contact with your child’s teacher if you have any concerns about your child’s wellbeing, in relation to returning to school next term.
