Student Voice

Another big congratulations and thank you to our SRC for being so flexible. On Wednesday we were lucky enough to have assembly outside. All students adapted to the change really well and everyone remembered their role. Well done!

During our meeting this week, we had some SRC bring in some suggestions from their class. A common theme was around break time programs. Some of the suggestions were:

  • archery
  • soccer
  • tennis
  • hockey
  • dog walking

We discussed these ideas as a group and decided some were not very safe for break times as school whilst others were a great idea.

We also discussed the two events we have planned for Term 3.

Footy Day

When: Wednesday 24th August

Students are encouraged to come to school dressed in their footy colours. We will have a parade in the morning during our usual assembly time.

R U OK Day?

When: Wednesday 31st August

Students are invited to come to school in free dress. At lunchtime, students will be set a challenge. They will need to find the students with the other half of their puzzle piece. Once they find the other half, they can enjoy a free sausage with their friend.
