What is happening in Kindergarten!
This week Kindergarten were excited to receive their new headphones! The school has recently purchased a set of headphones for each student in the school to be used with their Chromebooks and Ipads. These are being rolled out across the school in coming weeks!
Ashton and Jake were busy in Guided Reading groups locating the sounds that they had been learning. Using our PM reading books and sticky arrows we located the sound and placed an arrow to mark the sound. There was lots of fun competition to see who could find the sounds the quickest!
The Zebra Who Ran Too Fast.
We have been using concrete materials to retell the story of a group of animal friends who find themselves adding another animal friend to their group after a frightening storm.
We use animal figurines and other props to bring the story to life as we retell the events.
