Change of Preferences
Even though you have completed the VTAC course selection process, you will still have a chance to CHANGE YOUR PREFERENCES once your results are released at 7 am on Thursday, 11 December 2025.
You can make changes to your courses at the completion of your exams. It will close for Change of Preference at precisely 12 noon on Saturday, 13 December 2025. DECEMBER ROUND OFFERS will be available on Tuesday, 23 December 2025. These will be emailed to you directly by the institution and in your VTAC account at 10 am.
Should you wish to discuss your options at either of these times, Mr Colvin will be available.

During the December period of preference change, many Universities and TAFE Institutes run special COP advisory expos, seminars, or telephone call centres. You are encouraged to make use of them. You may also wish to look at the VTAC videos covering different aspects of the change to the preference system, including accessing and responding to offers in December 2025 and January 2026. If you do not receive an offer in December, please review your preferences and make any necessary changes in preparation for the next round of offers on Tuesday, 13 January 2026 (2 pm). Remember to ACCEPT all offers made in the December Round and check again in January and February for additional offers. You can withdraw from your original offer to accept an offer in the subsequent round; however, be aware that December or January may be your only offer!

ALWAYS ACCEPT YOUR DECEMBER OFFER. YOU CAN REJECT IT LATER IN SUBSEQUENT ROUNDS IF OFFERED SOMETHING AT A LATER DATE.
Enrolment procedures will be outlined in the institution's offer email. You MUST enrol by the cut-off date (usually 7-days), or your offer will lapse.
If you receive no offer at all, please don't panic. Email Mr Colvin for more advice or other options.

Tuesday 27 January 2026 (2pm) | January Round 2 offers (2nd smaller round to fill gaps) Please note that not everyone will receive a January round 1 or round 2 offer as most offers have been made in December 2025. Always accept your December offer as this may be the only offer that you receive.

February round 1 offers are available in your VTAC account from 2pm. Please note that not everyone will receive a February round 1 offer. | Mr Colvin will be back at school for assistance/questions with subsequent rounds. If you received NO OFFER at all in December or January, contact the College for assistance. There are still options available to students who wish to study!
NOTE: THE BULK OF OFFERS OCCUR IN THE DECEMBER & JANUARY ROUNDS, THEREFORE THERE IS A CHANCE THAT YOU WILL ONLY GET AN OFFER IN THESE ROUNDS AND NOT ANY OTHER ROUND. AS SUCH, PLEASE ACCEPT THE OFFER. DO NOT WAIT TO CHOOSE ONE OFFER OVER THE OTHER AS OFFERS LAPSE USUALLY WITHIN 7-DAYS OF BEING MADE. |
Tuesday 10 February 2026 (2pm) | February round 2 offers are available in your VTAC account from 2pm. Please note that not everyone will receive a February round 2 offer. | If you receive an offer in one of these later rounds you will receive an email, so ensure that you check the email you provided to VTAC on a regular basis.
