Dear Families,

Welcome to 2026 at Leongatha Primary School! We hope you have enjoyed a refreshing break and are feeling excited for the year ahead.

A very special welcome to all new students and families joining our school community this year. We are delighted to have you with us and look forward to getting to know you as part of our Leongatha Primary School family. To our returning families, welcome back — we are so pleased to see you again and grateful for your continued support.

As we begin the year, we look forward to another exciting time of learning, growth, and connection, grounded in our shared values of respect, responsibility, resilience, and kindness.

There are several key events just around the corner that we would like to highlight:

Friday 13 February – House Swimming Sports
Tuesday 3 – Thursday 5 March – Grade 6 Camp
Wednesday 11 – Monday 23 March – NAPLAN
Wednesday 25 March House Athletics Sports
Friday 27 March School Photos

In addition, weather permitting, we will be holding a Sports Afternoon this Friday from 2.30–3.00 pm, and all families are warmly invited to join us. It will be a lovely opportunity to come together and enjoy some fun and activity with our students.
