Students entering the Bachelor of Business can choose from 12 majors to specialise in. These majors are agribusiness, digital business, economics, enterprise, event management, finance, human resource management, international business, management, marketing, and tourism and hospitality. Depending on the major, some students may even select a second major.
Students also gain more real-world experience with diverse industry leaders and La Trobe partners.
Graduates of the Bachelor of Business with the Human Resource major (Melbourne (Bundoora) & Sydney) are eligible to apply for membership with Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI).
The VCE Entry requirements are Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English (EAL) or at least 20 in English other than EAL.

Students entering the Bachelor of Commerce degree have access to some different majors to those offered in the Bachelor of Business. Some of these majors are accounting, business analytics, economics, finance, management, or marketing.
Students get to build their business knowledge and entrepreneurial skills demanded by employers and policymakers. In addition, students gain real-world experience through an industry placement, work-integrated learning project or overseas student exchange.
Depending on your choice of majors, graduate ready to apply for membership into a range of business professional associations. For example, graduates of the Bachelor of Commerce with an Accounting major are eligible to apply for membership with: CPA Australia Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
