Student of the Week- Week 2

Visual Arts - Victoria 6C 'Be Respectful' Victoria showed immense respect to both her artwork and her family heritage by researching her cultural symbol to ensure it was a true and accurate representation.  She also showed great pride in the construction and formation of her cultural symbol, striving to honour its meaning. Congratulations Victoria!

Performing Arts - Santos 4B 'Be a learner' for demonstrating great pride and enthusiasm in his acting during Drama while performing his character during presentations. His voice and movement captured his peers' attention and applause. Fantastic work, Santos! 

 

6A - Nela Your commitment as school captain and the way you lead with kindness and maturity shines every day. Whether in class or in the yard, you consistently show responsibility and care for others. You are a trustworthy role model, and I’m incredibly proud to be your teacher this year. 

6B - Dillan for consistently showing persistence and determination during all learning tasks. You maintain a positive attitude when learning gets tough and provide support to others when needed. Well done!

6C - Jena for being an incredible friend and an inspiring leader. Thank you for the kindness, support, and positivity you bring to your peers and wider community, helping make it a happier place for everyone. Well done.

 

5A - Tavish 'Be a Learner' for extending and articulating his thinking when answering questions, particularly in mathematics. He shows growing confidence when tackling challenges, seeks clarification when needed, and demonstrates resilience by persisting when asking to clarify his understanding. Great effort, keep it up!

 

5C - Icy 'Be a Learner' for being a focussed and dedicated learner. She makes the most of every learning opportunity and is an excellent partner to her classmates. Well done Icy, keep up the great work.

 

4A - Sarah 'Be a Learner' Awarded to Sarah for her exceptional efforts with her book work. She takes pride in completing all written work to a very high quality, setting an excellent model for her peers. Well done Sarah!

4B - Joseph for the exceptional effort he has demonstrated throughout our maths unit on multiplication so far, particularly in his identification of the factors of 144. Joseph was able to clearly articulate his mathematical thinking. Amazing job, Joseph!

4C - Syleena 'Be a Learner' for showing resilience and effort in Maths this week. It was great to see her working hard to create and split her arrays to solve multiplication problems! Great work, Syleena! 

 

3A - Dean 'Be a learner' for putting in hard work and dedication to his persuasive writing work. Your commitment to working hard has helped you to create strong and persuasive arguments. Keep up the good work, Dean!

3B - Ayden 'Be Respectful' for showing a great level of respect during our ANZAC day commemorations. Ayden showed great maturity and was a role model to the rest of his class. Great work, Ayden!

 

2A- Jackson 'Be Respectful' Jackson has constantly shown a willingness to go beyond what is required of him to do the right thing. He has shown the intuitive to reorganise the library  had the books in the wrong place and he correctly put them where they belong. He always goes out of his way to set things right. His enthusiasm and courage are really good to see

2B - Minh 'Be a Learner' for displaying determination and a commitment to his learning during Mathematics. Minh remains focused when applying new learning to solving problems and is able to articulate his thinking. Well done, Minh!

 

1A - Caidein 'Be Respectful' for consistently demonstrating respect in our classroom. You use kind and polite words, listen carefully when others are speaking, follow instructions, and show care for your classmates and our learning environment. Your positive attitude helps make our classroom a safe and happy place for everyone. 

1B - Khoi  'Be a Learner' for staying focused and completing his  tasks independently. Khoi consistently puts in his best effort and never gives up. Keep up the great work, Khoi!

1C - Harper 'Be Respectful' for the pride she takes in our classroom and always being willing to help others. Well done Harper. 

 

FA - Haylin ‘Be a Learner’ has been developing her confidence to join in with class discussions and offer her opinions. She is also beginning to ask for help when she needs it, which is wonderful to see. Well done Haylin!

FB - Adriel ‘Be a Learner’  Adriel has made a great start to Term 2. He consistently displays whole body listening and works cooperatively with other students during partner tasks. Keep up the great work!

 

Highlighted Students
