OASIS - Matt Butcher
Students will learn why water is such an important resource on Earth and that it originates from various sources. They will learn the various states that water can come in.
Art - Carmel Fitzgerald
In Term Two, the Grade Four students will be further developing foreground, middle-ground and background in their art works. They will use different colours, values, lines and shapes to show contrast and perspective.
Music – Stacie Mason
By continuing to revise and practice reading musical notation, students will begin reading and playing melodies on the keyboard and bar instruments, alongside the recorder. They will explore patterns in music and engage in rehearsals to learn and perfect a song of their choosing.
Science – Lisa Ryan
Students will continue learning about motion and investigate distant forces using magnets. They will explore how objects can be moved without touching them.
PE - Danielle Coates & Class Teachers
Our initial focus is fitness-based activities, which will include a fitness challenge and aerobic tasks to develop agility and coordination.
The students will be presented with a unique opportunity to engage in games of an Indigenous nature; ‘Marn-Grook’ being one activity, a traditional Australian football game. With our term concluding by preparing for our school athletics sports early in Term 3.
