Principal's Message
TERM 3 SEMESTER 2
Bonjour à tous.
Currently only 46% of families are reading our newsletter. We will be looking at how the newsletter goes out moving forward. This may be fortnightly or even monthly. A hardcopy survey will go out shortly regarding how parents access school related information.

“The Feast Day of Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop is August 8th and is a special time to give thanks for Mary’s life, faith and enduring legacy. Saint Mary MacKillop (1842–1909), also known as Saint Mary of the Cross, was Australia's first canonized saint (October 17th 2010). Born in Fitzroy in Melbourne, she co-founded the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Sacred Heart and dedicated her life to providing free education and welfare for the poor.
2027 Enrolment intentions for grades 1 through to 6. This time of the year we are starting to look at class structures for the following year. To assist us with this, if your child or children will not be continuing their education at St Laurence's in 2027, we would appreciate you letting the school know as soon as possible.
Families with children commencing in Foundation next year, please return your enrolment agreement as soon as possible.
Merci,
Have a restful weekend.
Liz

God,
You did not wait until the world was ready.
You sent Mary in before she was certain, and she went.
We do not always know how the story ends.
Give us what she had: not certainty, but enough to begin.
Amen.
