LUNCHTIME CUTLERY
PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU PROVIDE YOUR CHILD WITH ANY CUTLERY NEEDED FOR THEIR LUNCH AND SNACK.
ONLINE LUNCH ORDERING
We have a number of children that are missing out on their lunch orders due to user error. Please make sure you select the correct date and move through each step to avoid your child missing out on their lunch order. You can check your receipt to confirm that you've completed the order correctly.
Lunch orders are available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Please log in to Qkr! and follow the steps.
Lunch orders are all on line. Orders must be placed by 8:30 a.m.

THE JAPANESE WORD OF THE FORTNIGHT
いいです(pronounced ‘iides’) which means ‘good!’ is the Japanese Word for Week 5 and 6 of Term 1.
You can simply use ‘いいです’ (‘iides’) instead of ‘good’ when you see or hear something good in the classroom and out in the yard. You can also say ‘きぶんいいです’ (‘kibun iides’) when you are feeling good. ‘kibun’ means feeling.

The Instrumental music program at Valkstone PS is back for 2026! Having a fantastic start in the later half of 2025, we would love to see even more Valkstone students take up an instrument and start their passion for playing music.
Enrolments are now open: We currently have guitar, drums and piano running in school hours with a waiting list for other instruments.

ICY POLE THURSDAYS ARE BACK
Thursdays are Icy Pole Days in Term 1.
Bring $1 to school and give to your teacher first thing in the morning. to ensure that you get your icy pole.

LOST PROPERTY
Lost property is located outside the gym near the STEM room.
This is not for children to just take any jumper/hat they find in the lost property.
Children should only be taking their own items.
Please remember to put your name on your school jumpers, hats etc. to ensure that we are able to return them to you.
