Book Week

Last week, Beaufort Secondary College celebrated Book Week in style. Book Week promotes books and the pleasure of reading, which research has consistently proven is an integral contributor to academic success, positive social interaction and mental wellbeing. 

Throughout the week, students engaged in a series of activities including quizzes related to book titles, book club games, dancing, and chess tournaments.

On Friday, students came dressed as their favourite book character and enjoyed a barbeque lunch, kindly organised by the SRC. The day culminated in a fantastically colourful and fun filled book week parade, with prizes for the best dressed being awarded by student members.
