Eastern Metropolitan Regional Netball Championships
Congratulations to all of our students who represented St Simon’s at the Regional Netball Championships on Monday 10th August.
Our team competed brilliantly against some incredibly strong teams, showing fantastic teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout the day. A huge congratulations to our players on an amazing 3rd place finish.
We are so proud of you.

Eastern Metropolitan Regional Soccer Championships
We are so proud of our Girl's Soccer Team who competed in the Eastern Regional Soccer Championships on Tuesday 18th August. Our team won an incredible 3/3 games in their pool at the start of the day.
This then eleveted them to compete in the semi final, which they won! The team progressed into the final and finished second overall at Regionals.
Such an incredible effort. The team showed exceptional skill and team work and a never give up attitude. We are so proud of them, well done girls.

District Summer Sports Day
Our Year 5/6 students participated in the District Summer Sports day on Friday 14th August. They showed great teamwork, determination and sportsmanship across the day.
A big congratulations to all of our students for representing St Simon's proudly.
The next District Summer Sports Day is on Tuesday 1st September.
Junior Hooptime
On Monday 17th August, our Year 4 students participated in their very first Hooptime.
Our students embraced every moment, showing plenty of enthusiam, teamwork and fantastic sportsmanship.
It was a great day had by all, thank you to the St Simon's families and teachers for assisting on the day.
St Simon Interschool Sport Key Dates 2026
Please note the following date for our SSV Wantirna District and Knox Division for the 2026 calendar year.
These dates are subject to change according to the discretion of the District and Division Coordinator. We wish to provide parents of our school the opportunity to acknowledge when upcoming sporting events are occurring.
We particularly call out to all future Year 5 and 6 parents to note the dates and to be potentially available to support our Interschool Sport teams as parent involvement not only supports our students in many ways as coaches and umpires but helps our staff with assistance with supervision. We thank all parents for their great help in making Interschool Sport a success for St Simon!
