NATIONAL ABILITY DAY |
National Ability Day refers to International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD).
It is celebrated on Wednesday 3rd December 2025. The purpose of this special day is to “increase public awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disabilities, and to support their dignity, rights, and well-being”.
The Dylan Alcott Foundation celebrates Ability Day where values help guide us to celebrate, connect and make positive change together. Dylan Alcott stands for and believes in inclusion and ensuring all students feel welcome and valued for who they are.
On Wednesday 3rd December, the students at St. Anthony’s will be doing just that. The Senior SRC members have shared information throughout the school about the Dylan Alcott Foundation also to continue to help educate our young children!
All the students are encouraged to dress up as any super hero or their local hero who they aspire to be like.
We are all so proud of the way our students respect and value each other and show inclusiveness to all in our community.
