2026 AGM Feedback

Leading with Courage – Celebrating the 2026 APF AGM and Conference

What a wonderful day of connection, celebration and professional engagement at the 2026 Australian Principals Federation Victorian Branch AGM and Conference, held on Friday 16 October at the Rendezvous Hotel in Melbourne.

Under this year's theme, "Leading with Courage," we brought together Principals, Assistant Principals, colleagues, partners and supporters to celebrate the strength of school leadership across Victoria and reflect on the opportunities and challenges ahead.

The day was a tremendous success, providing an opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, share experiences, hear from engaging speakers and recognise the extraordinary work being undertaken by school leaders every day.

Most importantly, thank you to every member who attended and contributed to making the day such a success. Your engagement, professionalism and commitment to public education are what make the APF such a strong and important organisation.

As we look ahead, the theme Leading with Courage remains particularly relevant. Courageous leadership is not simply about making difficult decisions; it is about standing up for our schools, supporting our colleagues, advocating for what matters and continuing to put students and communities at the centre of our work.

The APF remains committed to being a strong, independent and respected voice for Victorian Principals and Assistant Principals.

Thank you for making our 2026 AGM and Conference such a memorable occasion. We look forward to building on the momentum of the day and continuing to stand alongside you as the union exclusively for the Principal Class. We would greatly appreicate your thoughts and feedback as we begin planning for 2027.
