From the Principal

Dear families,

I hope you have had an enjoyable week, it has been nice to see the weather start to turn. We have had a couple of beautiful days at school which has been amazing. 

Just a note that tomorrow night our School Disco is running. A huge thanks again to the Parents and Friends Committee for their organisation of the event. There will be staff there to supervise and assist students. 

Both myself and Mrs George will be out of the office over the next few days. Mrs Donna Anderton will be the responsible person on site. 

MACSSIS Survey:

Shortly a number of families will be asked to participate in the MACSSIS school improvement survey. You will be sent a link with a unique code. It would be wonderful if families who are invited please take the time to complete the survey. 

Assumption of Mary:

Last Friday our school celebrated a Liturgy for the Feast Day of The Assumption of Mary. This day is celebrated every year on the 15th of August. I have attached a video below which provides more information on the Catholic Teachings of the Assumption of Mary,

Budgeting for 2027:

We are currently in the early stages of planning and budgeting for 2027. Like all schools, we are reviewing our budget in response to rising operational costs and other financial pressures to ensure we remain sustainable for the long term. At this stage, we are still in the process of determining the 2027 school fees and program offerings. Please be assured that our absolute priority remains delivering a high-quality Catholic education for every child. We are working closely with MACS throughout this process and will keep our parent community fully informed as our planning for 2027 is finalised.

Children's Book Week 2026:

Book Week Dress-Up Day and Parade – On Friday 28 August, students are invited to come to school dressed as their favourite book character, author, or illustrator.
