Welcome back to everybody for Term Two. Whether you were taking a holiday from work or simply enjoying a break in the rush for clean school uniforms each morning, we hope that the last two weeks have been restful.
To begin this term, our staff worked together on Monday 27 April for professional learning and planning in Inclusive Education. These days are valuable times that we can all be in the same room as a staff team to ensure that we continue to learn and develop, and we are grateful to families for their understanding as we take these opportunities for staff development through the year.
On Saturday morning, our St Paul captains, Thea and Evan, joined Leila bright and early at the Enfield RSL for the Anzac Day Dawn Service. It was an honour for St Paul to be included and to stand alongside the local community in remembering the courage, service and sacrifice of the men and women who have served our nation.
It was also lovely to see a number of St Paul families at the service and to spend time with them over breakfast afterwards. Sharing this time together reminded us that remembrance is something we do as a community—honouring the past, giving thanks and passing these stories and values on to the next generation.
